About us

The Goan Association of New York was formed in 1967 and incorporated in December 1975 with the aim of keeping the spirit of Goa alive amongst New Yorkers. Our Association's members range in age from 1 to 100; we welcome all! We aim to embody and carry on the true Goan spirit of faith, fun and generosity to our future generations so that they may know what it is to truly be a Goan. Throughout the year, we host a variety of events to build community and share our culture. Some of the events we have held in the past few years are the St. Francis Xavier Feast, Spring Ball, Memorial Day Camp, and the Summer Picnic.
